Pastor Christopher is a graduate of A.L. Hardy Academy of Theology, where he pursued and received a Masters of Theology and a Doctorate in Ministry. The A.L. Hardy Academy is a Theological Seminary, located in Seattle, Washington. Pastor Christopher also attended Southern University in Shreveport, Louisiana, Central Community College in Centralia, Washington and Pierce College in Tacoma, Washington. Pastor Christopher has completed several certificates in Theology from Berean College Assemblies of God National Correspondence Institute and Emmaus Bible College. Pastor Christopher has been a presenter at University of Washington and University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and Pierce College in Lakewood, Washington.
Current Positions: Pastor Christopher is currently the Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, President of the Tacoma Ministerial Alliance, and an Board Member of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.Past Positions: President and Dean of the North Pacific Baptist Convention, Dean of the Ebenezer Baptist District Association, President of Operation Christ Ministry, Youth Director of Youth for Christ-YMCA, President of the Congress of Christian Education of the North Pacific Baptist Convention, Board Member of Associated Ministries and Moderator of the Ebenezer Baptist District Association.
Pastor Christopher is currently the President of the Tacoma Branch of the NAACP. He is also a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Black Collective and Vice Chairman, Board of the Tacoma Urban League. On April 24, 2009, Pastor Christopher performed the dedication of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. & George Washington Bush Tree Dedication in Olympia, WA. On that same day, he gave the opening prayer on the Floor of the Senate in Olympia, WA. Attended the 63rd Annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D. C., under President Obama Presidency. In 2016 Pastor Christopher was appointed to the Re-entry Council by Governor Inslee. In 2017 Pastor Christopher was arrested in Washington D. C., for protesting the repeal and replace of the Affordable Health Care Act aka Obama Care. Pastor Christopher also ran for Tacoma City Council Position 6 in 2017 where he came in third out of the five candidates among voters.
On February 18, 1989, Gregory and Evelyn Christopher were united in holy matrimony. To this union, two families were combined as one. They are the proud parents of five (5) children, thirteen (13) grandchildren and thirteen (13) great grandchildren.
