Online Tutoring Support Students can access free tutoring seven days a week. Live
tutoring, paper review, math question drop-off, and SAT/ACT preparation are free at
Tutor.com. All sessions are recorded so students can review their information or refer back to it during future tutoring sessions. Students can access Tutor.com by logging into their Schoology account, selecting a course, and then selecting Tutor.com from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Pastor Christopher and the Laymen Ministry would like to invite all men of the church to

The Youth Choir will rehearse on Saturday, February 11th, at 10 am. The SOS Choir will rehearse immediately after at 12 pm.
The 13th Annual Hilltop Healthy Kids & Family Carnival will be held Saturday,
February 11th, from 11 am-3 pm at People’s Community Center located at 1602 MLK Jr.
Way in Tacoma. Flyers with more information are posted in the foyer.
Also in honor of Black History Month, The American Red Cross encourages eligible
donors, and especially those who have recovered from COVID-19, to give blood to honor the legacies of African Americans like Dr. Charles Drew, the director of the first Red Cross Blood Bank and Dr. Jerome Holland, the first African American chair of The Red Cross. Shiloh will host a Blood Drive here in the multi-purpose room on Thursday, February 16 th, from 2 pm-7 pm. All are invited to attend.
The North Pacific Baptist Convention Winter Board Meeting will be held via Zoom on
Saturday, February 18, 2023. The Executive Board meeting will begin at 9 a.m., and the
General Session will start at 10 a.m. The theme is “Going Forward as Spirtiual Fishers in the Great Commission taken from Matthew 28:19-20. . Please register online
First Lady Day is Saturday, February 25th, at 2:00 pm. The location for First Lady’s Day
will now be upstairs in the multi-purpose room. The theme is “There is Power in the
Journey When You Walk in Faith,” taken from 2 Corinthians 5:7. The colors are red,
silver, and white. Pastor's First Lady Anniversary will be Sunday, February 26th at 3 pm. This year’s theme is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” from Hebrews 6:10. The colors are red, burgundy, silver, and white. Following Shiloh’s 10:45 am service, dinner will be served from 1 pm-3 pm.

In honor of Black History Month, the Board of Christian Education will distribute
books about African Americans to our youth. We respectfully ask that only those youth present on the 2nd Sunday be allowed to select books from the carts. On the 4th Sunday, after the present youth have received their books, members may take books home for
children or grandchildren not present.
The North Pacific Baptist Convention (NPBC) Annual Black Heritage Tea is Sunday, February 19 th, at 3 pm, at Eastside Baptist Church. If you purchased a “Journey of a Lifetime” Bible Study book last month, Pastor Christopher asks that you please return the books to the church secretary. They will be exchanged or the new bible study books when they arrive. If you are attending the Men’s
Laymen on Wednesday night, please keep the “Journey of a Lifetime” book that you purchased, as it will be used in the Laymen study.
Women’s Annual Retreat will be June 9-11, 2023, at Lake Retreat Camp in Ravensdale. The fee is $125 per person for two nights and five meals. President will print flyers for distribution. You may find more information about the Camp at www.lakeretreat.org.
The Women's Ministry is looking for a Repass Coordinator. A Repass Coordinator ensures certain duties are taken care of before, during, and after a repass. If you are interested in this role, please call the office, leave your name and contact information, and someone will contact you.
In 1991, Minister Christopher join the Shiloh Baptist Church under the Pastoral Leadership of the late Reverend Dr. E. S. Brazill, who pastored Shiloh for almost 45 years. The church, under Pastor Brazill's leadership, called Minister Christopher as its second Pastor in January 2000.
