Junior Laymen

Junior Laymen’s Ministry

This Ministry offers a variety of activities and programs to youth and young adult males throughout Washington State to prepare them to be successful Christians and contributing members of society.

Activities and discussion groups, which are offered in a Christian context, include, but is not limited to topics such as:

• Career and educational preparation
• Leadership training
• Home, school and community deportment
• And dating and relationships

Local Churches, Districts and Areas sponsor these sessions.

Other activities include:

• Field trips
• Speaking contests
• Mentoring programs
• Worship and fellowship opportunities with other Junior Laymen
• As well as participation in local and Statewide athletic events

Whenever possible Junior Laymen are encouraged to plan and coordinate the above activities and serve as officers and leaders of Shiloh Baptist Church Junior Laymen’s Ministry, under the direction of the State Director of Junior Laymen.
