What is Awana?
Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. Awana Clubs International supplies the programs, materials and training for more than 12,000 churches in over 110 countries. Our message is simple: We’re here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose — to win and grow kids for Christ!
Awana provides youth with a fun environment to learn the gospel through Bible memory verses which is the cornerstone of learning the gospel through fun Bible-centered curriculum. Other activities include games, puppets, crafts, awards and other opportunities to increase their knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Each club builds on the previous club materials taking them deeper into God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Awana teaches the truth of God’s Word and to follow Christ in their daily lives.
There’s so much more to Awana that we would like to tell you. Please contact the church and we will answer all your questions.

Kids can earn Awana bucks that can be spent at the Awana store. Special theme nights are held throughout the year. Nights like crazy hair night, bring a friend night, cookie night, wild and wacky hat night and more.
Building Bridges to Clubbers Homes
Awana is a family ministry. The programs and materials are designed to reach children, youth and parents with the gospel message. Awana encourages parent involvement through the week with use of activity books and memory verses the children bring home. We consider parents the primary source of spiritual nurturing and growth.
If you would like to help us with this wonderful ministry to our kids and the kids of the South Natomas community, please contact us and let us know how you would like to be involved.
